PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for day-to-day production and shift activities, monitoring and controlling of production to achieve good quality output and yield.
2. Carry out improvement activities for higher targets, improve production yield with low rejects, and troubleshoot production problems.
3. Identify all rejects and prepare corrective and preventive action plans.
4. Take necessary measurements to analyze and solve production problems and follow up on issues that arise with production and quality departments.
5. Verification and authorization of all production control documents to optimize process yield percentage.
6. Implement Quality policy, 5S housekeeping, safety, and good environmental practices.
7. Assist in scheduling on-the-job training for Line Leaders, Supervisors, and Executives to meet production yield and quality requirements.
8. Verify the rejection rate, make remarks and analysis before scrapping, and implement countermeasures to minimize rejections.
9. Control standard procedures in the area of Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 & FSSC 22000 in all tasks performed inside production.
10. Support the quality department in investigating root causes & countermeasures concerning quality issues.
11. Identify and design the process control plan, FMEA (Failure Modes Effects Analysis), and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
12. Ensure continuous improvement of the production process.
13. Work closely with Operations & QA Departments to monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety on the production floor.
14. Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collect and interpret data from other technical and operating staff involved.
15. Develop innovative/creative ideas and alternatives to be cost-competitive with proposals (without compromising quality).
16. Act as the process leader on studies and projects.
