About the role

Join CASTMAX (M) SDN BHD as a Process Engineer and play a vital role in optimising our manufacturing processes. In this full-time position based in Subang Selangor, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and improving efficient production methods that drive quality, productivity and cost-effectiveness.

What you'll be doing

1. Analyse current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
2. Develop new process designs and control systems to enhance production yield and efficiency
3. Implement process changes and monitor their impact, making adjustments as needed
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimise workflows
5. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and environmental policies
6. Document processes, create training materials and provide support to production staff
7. Continuously research industry trends and innovations to identify areas for enhancement

What we're looking for

Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Process Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production bottlenecks

Proficient in using process control systems, data analysis tools and project management software

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Proactive approach to continuous improvement and a keen eye for optimizing processes

Understanding of relevant industry regulations and quality standards
