PROCESS ENGINEER

About the role

Join Vekan Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. as a Process Engineer based in Port Klang, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in optimizing and improving the company's manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

What you'll be doing

• Lead process design, optimization, and troubleshooting for various engineering projects
• Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), control plans & PFMEA
• Conduct feasibility studies on new products and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and safety engineering, to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare technical documentation, including work instructions, reports, and specifications as per IATF 16949 requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of processes and recommend improvements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
• Proficient in using process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, and PDCA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Thorough understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and automation
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
