Process Engineer

Here is where you will come in:

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all production processes within our operations. Your role will ensure the efficiency, safety, and overall quality of production activities, aligning with our company's high standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within production, focusing on process optimization and resource utilization.
3. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all materials and components meet production requirements and quality standards.
4. Provide technical support to the production team, ensuring smooth daily operations and resolving any process-related issues.
5. Implement and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
6. Conduct regular process audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
7. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that production processes align with product design and quality requirements.
8. Participate in team meetings, including planning sessions, and provide updates on process improvements.
9. Analyze data from production processes to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
10. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process changes and ensuring their successful integration into daily operations.
11. Create and lead training programs for the production team to improve their technical and operational skills.
12. Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards, ensuring all production processes adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
13. Perform other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors to maintain and improve the efficiency of production operations.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Engineering field or its equivalent.
2. At least 3-5 years in semiconductor manufacturing industry, with a focus on process engineering, is often preferred.
3. Competent and knowledgeable in problem-solving and quality/statistical tools such as 8D, PFMEA, Fishbone Diagram (Ishikawa), 5 Why Analysis, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Pareto Analysis.
4. Ability to work with design engineers, production managers, quality control teams, and procurement to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
5. Ability to collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of components, materials, and services.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills to document processes, present findings, and provide training to operators and other stakeholders.
7. Knowledge in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Through-Hole Technology (THT), PCB Assembly, Wave Soldering, and Reflow Soldering is essential.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
9. Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
10. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
11. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
