Responsibilities

1. Analyze and optimize warehouse workflows, layout, and storage systems to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and minimize operational costs.
2. Develop and implement processes for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Create standardized procedures and documentation to ensure smooth operations.
3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to eliminate waste and improve the overall quality of processes within the warehouse.
4. Evaluate and recommend technological solutions (e.g., warehouse management systems, automation tools) to increase productivity and streamline operations.
5. Collect, analyze, and interpret warehouse performance data (e.g., throughput, inventory accuracy, cycle time) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
6. Work closely with warehouse managers, inventory control teams, and other departments to ensure alignment of processes and operational goals.
7. Provide training and support to warehouse staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
8. Ensure all processes comply with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience of at least 2 years in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in process engineering or operations optimization.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
4. Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS), process mapping tools, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
5. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
