Process Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineer/Assistant Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to Process Engineer/Assistant Process Engineer
2. Overview in daily operation of respective production requirements such as line productivity, efficiency, quality, yield and machine utilization.
3. Maintain process control and carry out routine checks, verification, and repair work.
4. Carry out preventive maintenance, periodic and predictive maintenance programs on both hardware and system software.
5. Maintain records of maintenance programs including plant equipment such as air compressors, vacuum pumps, transformers, etc.
6. Assist Engineer in maintaining list of spare parts through timely reviews to ensure minimum disruption to production operations.
7. Ensure production operations meet the company's quality policy and objectives and comply with customer requirements.
8. Assist Process Engineer in executing improvement plans and continuous improvements to attain cost reduction programs for customers and to meet the company's goals.
9. Assist Production Supervisor in initiating actions to prevent occurrences of product non-conformity.
10. Assist and execute the implementation of product non-conformity solutions.
11. Responsible for promoting safety in the assembly area.
12. Responsible for promoting and cultivating housekeeping in the assembly area.
13. Motivate workforce to achieve productivity and quality standards.
14. Create a harmonious working environment to work as a team.
15. Other duties and assignments by superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

1. At least a Diploma in Mechatronics or Electrical field.
2. At least five (5) years of working experience in production processes.
3. Must be analytical: knowledge of FMEA, SPC, DOE, etc. will be an added advantage.
