Private Nurse

Job Responsibility

1. Assume the role as a private nurse to care for new born infant and mother (1:1)
2. Able to identify signs of distress/ complications and able to perform neonatal resuscitation
3. Provide hands-on care for new born infant such as assisting with diaper changes, bathing and administering medication as instructed
4. Assist in breastfeeding support and guidance for post-natal mother
5. Monitor and assess the health of post-natal mothers and newborn, including vital signs, symptoms of complications (if any), and overall well-being
6. Maintain accurate medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and progress
7. Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, including hygiene standards
8. Maintain client’s confidentiality and privacy
9. Competent and skilled in performing duties

Job Requirements

1. Degree/Diploma/ any certification in Nursing or Post basic Midwifery or any higher qualification
2. Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board
3. Valid Annual Practicing Certificate/ Malaysian Nursing License
4. Able to write and speak English and Bahasa Malaysia fluently
5. Minimum 1 year experience in nursing in hospital/ medical institution setting/ confinement center or in a related field
6. Experience as Paediatric or Neonatal Nurse are highly encouraged to apply
7. Willing to work for day and/or night shifts including weekends and public holidays
8. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualification
9. Must be dedicated, passionate, responsible, have good attitude
10. Required skills: good communication skills and problem-solving skills
11. Must be able to begin work in January 2025.
