We're looking for an experienced and passionate Principal or Vice Principal to join our team. Role & Responsibilities
Support and work closely with the Group Principal.
Ensure the school develops and maintains a conducive classroom environment for effective learning.
Provide written evidence of preparation upon request by immediate supervisor on behavior issues.
Take necessary precautions to protect the safety of students, equipment, and materials.
Interact with students and parents on education-related purposes.
Comply and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and the organization’s policies.
Attend and participate in faculty meetings and other professional meetings called by the Academy Department and/or management.
Work as a team with other staff in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
Abide by company policies and procedures provided by the Human Resource department.
Meet and strive to exceed personal and workgroup targets for Key Performance Indicators.
Perform any other duties as entrusted by the Group Principal/Management Team CEO/Board of Directors.
Oversee the smooth operations of daily activities in the school.
Monitor closely administrative tasks, filing records, and examinations.
Coordinate with the training department on new teaching ideas and methodologies.
Hold regular meetings with the Group Principal, Head of Department, CEO, management, and teachers.
Oversee the submission of lesson plans, schemes of work, exam papers, and grades.
Coordinate staff induction and orientation of new teachers.
Reinforce the rules and regulations to students, teachers, and staff.
Establish effective communication with parents and students.
Coordinate school field trips, leadership camps, education fairs, workshops, and school events.
Assist with marketing and promotions, admissions, entry tests, and registration.
Coordinate IGCSE International Exams with the examination department.
Responsible for alumni association and student testimonials.
Coordinate school graduation and appreciation day for teachers/staff.
Supervise closely on KPIs to drive performance for teachers/staff.
Continually endeavor to improve the operating effectiveness of the school.
Coordinate and foster the development of programs within the school to meet the needs and interests of students.
Develop and support a high degree of student morale through curricular and extracurricular activities.
Be responsible for the preparation of timetables, class lists, and schedules.
Oversee budgeting and determine budget allocations for supplies, materials, staff, and equipment.
Attend and participate in management meetings.
Advise on forthcoming product/program developments and discuss special promotions with the Business Development Department.
Strive to exceed workgroup targets as set by the employer.
Job Requirements
Complete knowledge of the Malaysian National Curriculum.
Knowledge of Academic practices & Procedural Manual (APPM) and School Operations Manual (SOM).
Knowledge of child learning methodologies, curriculum development, and implementation.
School improvement practices and staff development techniques.
