Principal Commodity Manager

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Creating and implementing a global strategy and collaboration model for IC Digital, Memory and Transistor components.
• Building relationships on global, regional, and local levels to become a trusted advisor with collaborators to ensure goals are aligned and met.
• Identifying areas of opportunity and completing activities to achieve cost, process, efficiency, and sustainability goals.
• Leading procurement negotiations, source-to-contract and supplier management activities which generate best-in-class outcomes.
• Monitoring market trends and assessing potential risks and opportunities.
• Building excellent supplier relationships whereby procurement is seen as a key decision-maker.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry, market, and business standard methodologies and new technologies.
• Evangelizing the NI culture, guiding principles & core values.

Who You Are:

The person who drives supplier performance, reduces total cost of ownership, and optimizes our supply chain process.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in a strategic Procurement role within a multinational organization; prior experience in managing specialized commodities would be highly advantageous.

• Financial competence and demonstrated skill in analytics and decision-making.
