We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Architect to join our NetData Data Capture team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Solution Architect design and software design, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality and scalable solutions. As a Principal Architect, you will participate in architectural discussions with Enterprise Architect and contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as an expert in their field ('Guru')
- Investigates, analyses and documents all or part of a business (functions, processes, information, systems, engineering, technical tool/processes, hardware environments, performance and security) in a methodical approach.
- Defines architecture requirements, creating viable specifications, for improving any aspect of the enterprise (business & technical architecture).
- Responsible for managing the staff priorities, assignments, practices and objectives of the architecture (discipline) team.
- Develops and updates the enterprise architecture. Defines architecture guidelines. Reviews and provides consulting to projects on enterprise IT architecture topics, particularly around cross-application integration.
- The design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.
- Oversee completion of projects in terms of technical delivery meeting the architecture and business requirements for new migration projects.
- Communicate effectively all-important news that should be made available to the architectural community.
- Leads the definition, initiation, and design of mostly complex architecture in projects/programs.
- Coordinates collaboration with external service providers in terms of assembling own or third-party system components.
- Applies standard methodologies when creating new architecture, programs and applications or when maintaining existing ones.
- Documents work using the required standards, methods and tools.
- Acts as technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards, steering the development process, reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in IT or Computer Science
- Relevant professional qualifications would be desirable i.e. TOGAF, Agile Scrum
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in FICO Blaze Advisor BRE (Business Rule Engine) development and SRL (Structured Rule Language)
- Experience in performance tuning, rules restructuring and maintenance for FICO Blaze Advisor
- Strong background in Java and web service (JSON/SOAP) development
- Expert/Experienced in Rules modeling, e.g. Unit rule, ruleset, rule template, ruleflow, atomic rule, composite rule, decision table, decision tree & etc.
- Expert/Experienced in FICO Blaze Advisor Rule Maintenance Application (RMA) setup, administration and development.
- Experienced in exposing BRE rules to JAVA Web Services and EJB.
- Experienced in WebLogic Application Server
- Experience in Business performance and analysis (problem-solving skills) Leadership experience (global business/technology modeling complex projects) Communication and presentation capability to clearly get across a message.
