We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant as part of the Pre-Sales Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date with company’s product suite, industry development on mobile vulnerabilities, protection, and exploitation, and competitive products.
- Support sales manager in providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and coordinating with after-sales support services.
- Prepare and conduct technical webinars, demos, training, technical presentations, proposals, and RFP requirements.
- Scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customer’s met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and V-Key.
- Be the technical point of contact between customers and internal resources such as product engineering, professional services, operations, and customer support.
- Direct responsibility for supporting technical proof-of-concept and guiding them in the product implementation.
- For out-of-the-norm technical scenarios, collaborate with solution architects and product owners to determine the best solution that can meet customer needs.
- Provide training and support material for other members of the sales team.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback as inputs for product management and engineering.
- Keep abreast of target customers’ latest needs and relevant industry trends and regulations.
- Use social media and other forms of communication to engage customers and prospects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience gained in any IT Security / Pre-sale area involving contact with customers.
- Prior experience in handling Pre-Sales within the Malaysia/Southeast Asian markets (with a focus on IT and/or security).
- Knowledge in Authentication & Cryptography / PKI or Mobile iOS & Android framework is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the cybersecurity industry and security solutions landscape.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues and problems, with attention to details.
- A strong self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
