Pre-Production Officer

Responsibilities

1. To manage and fabricate customer samples.
2. Handle internal sales calls and customer inquiries via emails and phone calls.
3. Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
4. Responsible for inventory management including updating of stock details, stock count, and generation of reports.
5. Attend to customer complaints and other customer-related services.
6. Provide administrative support to the Sales Team from pre-sales to post-sales.
7. Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.
8. Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
9. Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.
10. Manage the allocated project through a structured gated process from concept/quotation to production-handover.
11. Plan, coordinate, implement, and finalize project coordination.
12. Provide technical decisions/guidance and flow down of project requirements to Suppliers, including but not limited to tool and fixture manufacturing designs, machining requirements, drawings, CAD models, and Contract/Condition of Supply requirements.
13. Support production line tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
14. Lead team meetings to facilitate communication between organizations and functions as required to meet program timing objectives.
15. Carry out process validation for new/existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements, including the use of FMEA activities.
16. Prepare control documents/work instructions and provide technical support to production departments when necessary.
17. Generate and issue buyoff and quality reports for new project items and existing projects.

Comply with ISO9001 requirements on all projects and processes.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Basic artwork knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (AI) and PDF editor.
3. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 will be an advantage.
4. Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
