Mainly responsible for supporting the Marketing department in campaign launches with priority on key events and Public Relations campaigns.
Job Responsibilities
Public Relations
Assist the Public Relations Manager in executing PR strategies aligned with the marketing plan.
Assist the Public Relations Manager in maintaining and building relationships with media, KOLs, and celebrities.
Assist in executing innovative ideas for PR engagements – Content Creations & local influencer product seeding initiatives.
Track and measure PR results through monthly reporting and analysis of competitor reports.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating PR activities and events in accordance with the marketing plan.
Coordinate with vendors, partners, and organizations for PR activities and events.
Events Management
Assist and coordinate with the Event Manager to organize events for any new launches and campaigns.
Assist in planning and execution for events – Centre Courts and Pop-Ups ensuring seamless execution in line with Dior’s brand image and marketing plan.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners such as agencies, vendors, mall management, and organizations to initiate events.
Assist in post-event reporting.
Assist in bidding for major events.
Media - Offline
Assist and execute offline media campaigns (OOH, Cinema, and Magazine) aligned with the media plan.
Monitor offline media plan to ensure timely delivery of advertising material.
Coordinate with media agency on offline media plan, related to reporting and analysis.
Others
Monitor and manage expenses of PR & Events budget to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Assist in purchase orders preparation, tracking expenses, and invoices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Monitor industry trends and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Assist in department administrative duties or any other ad-hoc duties as required related to the overall job scope.
Profile
Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or relevant fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
2 to 5 years of related marketing experience, specifically around customer marketing, customer insights, retail & digital marketing. Preferred exposure to international brands.
Experience working in the beauty industry, luxury products, or higher segment consumer goods will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
Keen eye for aesthetics and sharp attention to detail.
Critical thinker and analytical problem solver.
Excellent planning and organizing skills with a drive for results, problem-solving, and action-oriented.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Professional working proficiency in Malay and Chinese language will be an added advantage.
