Postgraduate Student

Looking for PhD/Master candidates with a strong background in chemical, petroleum, mechanical, or electrical engineering to conduct research in the field of Process Integration, Renewable Energy, Process Systems Engineering, Process Planning, Energy Management, or Pinch Analysis.

Expected start date: January to March 2025

Financial support: UTP Graduate Assistantship (GA) Scheme

UTP GA Scheme details:

• Open for full-time research students only
• Minimum CGPA of 3.25/4.00 for Master candidates. PhD candidates must hold a Master Degree in Engineering.
• Covers tuition fee (Research Progression Fee ONLY) and research methodology.
• Student to pay for Resources Fee (RM2,400 annually for Full-Time mode) and Viva Voce Fee.
• Registration, accommodation, and transportation costs are not covered and are to be borne by students.
• Candidates will be assigned 6 hours of academic activities per week in the form of tutorials, laboratory demonstration, or any other related academic activities.
• Candidates will be required to perform 22 research days per month.
• Monthly subsistence allowance: RM1,800.00 (MSc students) OR RM2,300.00 (PhD students)
