Job description

Job Description - Postdoctoral Fellow(s) (210001PM)

Applicants should have:

  1. Graduated from a prestigious university (top 100 world universities is preferred) with a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or Biology, with relevant research experience, preferably in stem cells biology, tissue engineering or bioengineering;
  2. Good research skills, such as molecular and cell biology techniques (cell culture, RNA-seq, qPCR, western blot and immunofluorescence staining), or biomaterial development skills (biomechanical testing, polymer synthesis, polymer characterisation);
  3. Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
  4. A highly self-motivated and detail-minded work attitude with the ability to work independently.

Experience in drafting research proposals and academic papers is preferred.

The appointee(s) will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting musculoskeletal research;
  2. Assisting in grant, report and paper writing.

Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
