TECHNICIAN, GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot plumbing issues (e.g., leaks, pipe blockages).
• Respond to emergency plumbing situations (if required).
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Perform preventive maintenance for all the piping and grease trap in store outlets.
• Inspect plumbing systems for safety and functionality.

Required Skills

• Proven plumbing experience (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Knowledge of plumbing regulations and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• SPM, diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant plumbing certifications.
• Valid driver’s license B2 or D and reliable transportation (for fieldwork).

Work Environment

• CU Mart, Mynews Mart, Super Value Mart, Maru Coffee, and WHS store outlets.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in tight or challenging spaces and environment.
• Willing to travel within Klang Valley and Outstation (if required).
