The team

The Platform Administrator plays an integral role within the Marketing Technology team, aligning the platform's capabilities with the specific needs of marketing teams across APAC, supporting eight geographies. The overall objective is to improve our capabilities in managing multi-functional relationships with our customers and to become more sophisticated and targeted in how we engage with them.

About The Role

The Platform Administrator focuses on the administration, configuration, and enhancement of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics, using declarative (non-programmatic) toolsets to improve platform value, maintain security and access controls, and deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Maintenance

  1. Ensure the platform(s) are ‘always on, always safe’ by maintaining system reliability and security.
  2. Support monthly auditing tasks and action risk mitigation requirements.
  3. Conduct proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizer assessments.
  4. Manage user access, profiles, permissions, activation, and deprovisioning.
  5. Lead all aspects of sandbox environment management and governance.
  6. Work together with the team to identify and fix problems when they arise, bringing in additional support at the right time.

Campaign Support & Audience Insights

  1. Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to derive audience insights and make recommendations for campaign improvements.
  2. Develop audience insights and proactively report on platform and campaign performance.
  3. Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize customer journeys and segmentation strategies.
  4. Support data integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualtrics, and other Martech platforms.

Essential Skills and Experience

  1. Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator.
  2. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification.
  3. Experience managing and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics.
  4. Experience creating solutions using configuration and declarative toolsets (Process Builder, Flows, Approval Rules, Formulas, and Validation Rules) on the Salesforce platform.
  5. Experience with SQL for data segmentation and querying in SFMC.
  6. Demonstrated ability to build complex journeys using Journey Builder for common use cases.
  7. Experience in reporting, dashboards, and insights generation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics.
  8. Understanding of customer segmentation, preference management, and personalization strategies.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve platform-related challenges.

Desirable Skills

  1. Familiarity with scripting languages such as AMP script and SSJS.
  2. Working knowledge of APIs and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector.
  3. Basic understanding of REST/SOAP APIs for integrating external systems.
  4. Knowledge of customer experience and feedback management within Qualtrics.
  5. Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and IT.
  6. Strong documentation skills to maintain system configurations and processes.

This role is ideal for a junior-level professional looking to build expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics while supporting critical marketing technology operations across multiple regions.
