Plant Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery.
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
4. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the maintenance manager.
5. Assist in coordinating and implementing maintenance schedules and tasks.
6. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Certificate or diploma in engineering or equivalent.
2. Prior experience working as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting is preferred.
3. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
