Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for developing and implementing detailed piping designs and layouts, ensuring compliance with the Client standards and project specifications.

TASKS:

• Utilize S3D software for 3D modeling and extraction of 2D drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements;
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure design integrity and project objectives are met;
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and other technical documents to create detailed and accurate piping designs;
• Conduct 3D model reviews for design development and ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements;
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive and comprehensive design delivery;
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise;
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred;
• 10+ years of piping design experience, with a strong preference for experience in offshore EPC projects;
• Expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drawing extraction using S3D software;
• Previous experience with Qatargas standards and projects;
• Fluent level of written and spoken English.

• Job Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia;
• Contract Duration: 6 months;
• Starting Date: July 2024.
