About the role
Medtown Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Locum to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a contract role, offering the flexibility to work on a temporary basis and gain exposure to a variety of pharmacy settings. As a Pharmacist Locum, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe dispensing of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, educating them on proper usage, side effects, and potential interactions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
• Participate in regular inventory management, stock control, and medication ordering processes
• Contribute to the overall success of the pharmacy through continuous improvement and problem-solving

What we're looking for

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice in Malaysia
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, medication management, and patient safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
