PHARMACIST ASSISTANT

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Assistant to support our operations. The successful candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of prescriptions.
• Provide information and guidance to customers on medication usage and potential side effects under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage inventory levels, including stock checks and ordering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Handle transactions and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for prescription verifications and clarifications.
• Assist in preparing reports and maintaining pharmacy records.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Willingness to work on weekends.
