About the role

Medtown Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. What you'll be doing

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patients receive the right medication and dosage
• Provide patient counselling and education on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and storage requirements
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Participate in inventory management, ordering, and the implementation of quality assurance measures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical developments, guidelines, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication management, and patient-centred care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care
