Job description

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Personal Assistant to join our dynamic team at AB Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. Based in Johor Bahru, Johor, this is a full-time position that will provide critical support to our senior management.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the assigned executive(s)
  • Managing the executive's schedule, appointments and travel arrangements
  • Preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Organising and maintaining the executive's filing system and records
  • Acting as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a PA, EA, or Operations Coordinator, preferably in manufacturing, trading, or investment firms in a similar role.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or Supply Chain preferred but not mandatory if experienced
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Discreet and trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively
  • Experience in assisting families with settling in, managing daily errands, and handling local service providers
  • Have a driving license, ability to drive for business and personal errands. Candidates who own personal transportation are highly encouraged.
  • Ability to attend to government matters, errands, and submissions
  • Experience in international procurement, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Knowledge of forex, investments, and financial tracking
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and building materials industry
  • Project coordination skills for construction programs and operational projects
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills to handle business and personal tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, partners, and staff across different time zones
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems, financial tracking software, and office tools like Excel and PowerPoint
