Practice Nurse – Weymouth

Dream Medical is working with a GP surgery in Weymouth in recruiting a Practice Nurse for their surgery.

The practice is looking for a nurse to cover a minimum of 17, up to 22 hours a week on a permanent basis; however, can offer more for the candidate in the future. You will be working as part of a team alongside GPs, Nurses, and healthcare assistants.

Skills:

1. Up to date in baby Immunisations and Vaccinations
2. Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
3. The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
4. Child and adult immunisations
5. Cervical Cytology
6. Spirometry
7. Diabetes
8. Asthma and COPD monitoring
9. Family planning
10. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
11. Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
