Job description

[PERM] HR Executive/Senior HR Executive - Employee & Industrial Relations

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a strong background in Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) to join our dynamic HR team. You’ll play a key role in cultivating a positive workplace environment, resolving employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations (ER):

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on ER issues.
  2. Handle employee grievances, conduct investigations, and provide resolution recommendations.
  3. Promote and support a positive work environment through coaching, counseling, and communication.
  4. Support employee engagement initiatives and feedback processes (e.g. surveys, townhalls).

Industrial Relations (IR):

  1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and IR regulations.
  2. Collaborate with legal and management teams on union matters and collective agreements.
  3. Support and/or represent the company in discussions with trade unions and during negotiations.
  4. Manage disciplinary actions, show-cause processes, and domestic inquiries in compliance with legal frameworks.

General HR Support:

  1. Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation related to ER/IR cases.
  3. Support HR projects including performance management, policy training, and compliance audits.
  4. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive HR best practices and employee well-being.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. 3–5 years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on ER and IR matters.
  3. Solid understanding of employment laws and industrial relations frameworks.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
