Responsibilities

  • Month-End Close: Ensure all tasks are completed on time and receive approval from the manager or authorized personnel.

  • Payment Processing: Oversee the review of payments by the manager before submission to MBPS and banks.

  • Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, suspense accounts, and Concur.

  • Audit Support: Respond to inquiries from EY auditors.

  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain the DAD listing, manage corporate card applications and terminations, and handle exit clearances.

What we are looking for

  • University degree in Accounting

  • Experience in month end accounts closing process

  • Experience in processing payments and journalizing

  • Experience working in the Treasury/ Payment section of life insurance company would be an added advantage

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills

  • Good Analytical skills

  • Good written English and communication skills

  • Punctuality and always seek advice from seniors when in doubt
