PARTNERS / GENERAL MANAGER

1. Overview
The General Manager ensures high-quality steel product operations. Responsibilities include overseeing mill performance, managing production schedules, leading the team, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

2. Job Knowledge and Experience

• At least 5 years working experience in engineering steel fabrication works / construction equipment.

Experience required:

• Working in a leadership capacity with exceptional hands-on exposure leading the operations functions in a similar profession.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage production schedules, and optimize processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of steel products safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees.

3. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the team: Supervise products, train production staff, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Follow up with marketing: Handle product and pricing matters, coordinate and analyze market research activities.
• Optimize mill performance: Ensure efficient operation of equipment and processes. Monitor production rates and address performance issues.
• Manage costs: Monitor and control production costs, including overtime, implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
• Ensure quality control: Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain product standards and resolve any quality concerns swiftly.
• Enhance processes: Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in extraction efficiency and milling yield.
