Package Design Engineer Leader

• Responsible for using 2D (CAD/CAM) and 3D CAD software to design the package/leadframe/substrate/carrier according to DFM.
• To work with internal/external partners to ensure the design compliance with requirement.
• Coordinate and involve in the activities from design phases, pre-development until qualification.
• Act as a reference for assembly design and defining the perimeter.
• Continuously improve existing design for quality, robustness, and cost improvement.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years working experience in Semiconductor industry (FE, BE, Substrate, Solar Panel and PCB).
• Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics/Material science) or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in semiconductor packaging and design definition (concept, design rules, delta assessment, DFMEA).
• Equipped with 2D and 3D CAD software for designing. CAD/CAM design translation experience will be added advantage.
• Systematic Problem-Solving methodology e.g., 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, Fish Bond, Is/is not and etc.
• Ability to anticipate issues and challenges and resolve them within tight timeline.
• Practice high performance behavior and together work as TEAM in executing projects & strive for excellent.
