Technical Architect Position Overview
The Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performing applications using the OutSystems platform. This role requires a deep understanding of OutSystems architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Design and architect complex, enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform. Define technical architecture and ensure the implementation of best practices and coding standards.
- Create scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Review and approve code, ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications. Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
- Development and Implementation: Lead the development of OutSystems applications, including custom components and integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations. Conduct regular code and design reviews to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams. Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in OutSystems and related technologies. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development. At least 4 years of experience working with the OutSystems platform.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in OutSystems development and architecture. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience in developing Microservices and experience in Domain Driven Design with OutSystems.
