About the role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Safety Supervisor to join the dynamic team at Lian Foo Poultry Farm Sdn Bhd in Masjid Tanah Melaka. As the Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all employees, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing and monitoring the company's health and safety policies and procedures
• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Providing training and support to employees on health and safety protocols
• Investigating and reporting incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and taking corrective actions
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to health and safety compliance
• Collaborating with management to continuously improve the company's safety practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction or related industry
• Thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety concerns promptly
• Proficiency in conducting training sessions and delivering safety presentations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant safety certifications or qualifications (e.g., NIOSH) would be an advantage
