OSC Plant Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, quality control, and resource allocation.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Implement measures to optimize production output and minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and technicians.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain activities to support production requirements.
• Optimize use of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all plant operations.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track plant performance.
• Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with senior management on plant performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant educational qualification.
• 5 years or more experience in a similar industry.
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and relate well with others to drive results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good hygiene practices to ensure personal hygiene, workplace hygiene, and product hygiene.
• Project management skills and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
