Job Description:

1. Collect dispatch recording books, seals and keys for the tanks from which the oil is to be dispatched for the day from weighbridge office.
2. Ensure all equipment for dispatch are in good condition at all times and report damaged items immediately.
3. Inspect, clean or change the strainer and filter before use and change if necessary.
4. Collect samples as per plan and send to the Laboratory for testing, ensuring safekeeping and cleanliness of sampling bottles/containers.
5. Ensure all loading lines, loading facilities, tankers & ISO-tankers and workplace are clean and free from potential contaminants that can affect the quality and food safety of the products.
6. Check that the tanker is clean, and the outlet valve is tightly closed. Unsatisfactory tankers must be reported to Superior immediately.
7. Confirm with the weighbridge section to get clearance for loading.
8. Load and dispatch as per Dispatch program, recording all activities in the dispatch record books and carrying out loading according to procedures.
9. Check for water and/or impurities from the discharge valve sample after loading the tanker and sign on the Dispatch form. Contact QC if impurities are seen in the sample.
10. When loading is completed, ensure that all manholes and outlet valves are properly closed and sealed.
11. Ensure smooth loading of oil without delay; notify Superior immediately of any delays.
12. Record all activities in the log sheet as required.
