Operations Engineer (Integrated Security Management System)

You’ll be part of the Workplace Digitalization team, where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for developing, implementing and running all digital products for the Global Security business unit, part of Global Real Estate & Workplace Management.

As a team, we will ensure that all assets are compliant and safely monitored and managed through effective access management, control and evacuation systems. The security solutions are globally implemented across.

You’ll play an important role in:

1. initiating and maintaining Application Lifecycle Management plans for our portfolio of physical security applications, and predominantly our access management and control product
2. coordinating and organising execution of ALM plans in close cooperation with our infrastructure colleagues and vendor
3. keeping applications at the right security level and patching level and implement upgrades and insights for potential improvements in the technical setup
4. contributing to the continuous optimisation and further development of our application lifecycle processes and service maturity
5. providing technical assistance on predominantly access management and control system and related technologies especially in windows-based infrastructure
6. ensuring implementation/installation of technology that are secure, reliable, maintainable, scalable, usable, and perform well
7. support Root Cause Analysis as and when required within the solution stack.

To succeed in the role, you:

1. have experience with application lifecycle management of complex systems and processes, incl. on-prem and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure)
2. have excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, applications concepts, patterns and scripting (SAFe, DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, Python, PowerShell)
3. have knowledge in Siemens Sipass Integrated system would be beneficial
4. speak and write English fluently and can communicate complex subjects with overview and precision, both in writing and orally
5. can understand technical application documentation and be part of technical discussions where you are able to think strategically and translate your thoughts into concrete goals.
6. have experience in contract/vendor management
