OperationManager

Employment Location: Sungai Buloh, Selangor
Salary Package: RM 6,000 – RM 8,000
Working Days: Mon – Sat (half day on Saturday)
Working Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Mon – Fri), 8:00am – 1:00pm (Sat)

Job Descriptions: -

Overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the production process. Responsible in encompass P&L management, cost control, efficient resource utilization, and project scheduling, as well as team management.

• P&L Management: Take ownership of the production department's budget, revenue, expenses, and profitability. Develop and execute strategies to optimize financial performance and achieve cost-saving objectives.
• Cost Control and Management: Implement cost control measures to minimize production costs while maintaining quality standards. Analyze cost variances and take proactive steps to improve cost efficiency.
• Project Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Develop and maintain a comprehensive production schedule to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines. Ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team of operational staff, including project and manufacturing engineers, purchasers, QA and QC personnel, and production workers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of rigorous quality assurance and control processes. Collaborate with QA and QC teams to maintain product quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Supplier and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and resources. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts to benefit the organization.
• Health and Safety: Enforce and promote safety protocols, ensuring a secure and healthy work environment. Investigate and report safety incidents, taking corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports on production performance, financial metrics, and operational KPIs to the directors and senior management. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Educational / Experience Background:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role from manufacturing.
