Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support data-drivendecision-making.
Build and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions.
Analyze financial performance to identify areas of concern and propose actionable solutions.
Provide insights and recommendations, even with incomplete data, by formulating informed assumptions.
Student Management:
Oversee invoicing, receipts, and bookkeeping for student-related activities, ensuring compliance with Singapore Government reporting requirements.
Coordinate and handle submissions to the Singapore Government on course progress & financial metrics, maintaining accurate and timely documentation to support reporting and regular audits
Team Expense Management:
Monitor and track expenses submitted by the RISE team to the BCG team.
Ensure accurate recording of cumulated expenses and timely submissions to the Singapore Government as part of maintaining the general ledger.
Maintain oversight of expense-related communication and provide necessary tracking support.
Vendor and Contract Management:
Coordinate with internal HR and Legal teams for vendor contract renewals, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
Act as a point of contact to facilitate communication between internal leads (e.g., Business Director, Sales Leads, Content Leads) and relevant vendor representatives.
Ensure all vendor management processes adhere to internal guidelines and timelines.
Operational Process Improvement:
Drive process optimization for invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor coordination.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with financial and operational regulations, including those specific to Singapore Government requirements.
Prepare for audits and ensure proper documentation and reporting standards are upheld.
Requirements:
5–7 years of experience in financial planning, operational management, or related fields.
Basic accounting knowledge, including experience in general ledger maintenance.
Strong analytical skills to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
Ability to understand business needs and align operational processes accordingly.
Confidence in assessing situations with incomplete data and presenting a reasoned perspective.
Experience working with government organizations or agencies.
Confident presentation skills and the ability to communicate succinctly with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with Singapore government regulations related to financial and operational reporting.
