Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or equivalent from a reputable University. (Candidates with a Diploma and substantial experience will also be considered).
At least 2 years of sales or key account experience in Modern Trade or General Trade (GT/Industry), Key Wholesalers, and Distributors. Good networking in the FMCG industry is essential for this position.
Skills required: Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, Forecasting, Process Improvement, Data Analysis.
Must have personal transportation.
Proficient in MS OFFICE, especially MS EXCEL.
The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, proactive, and maintain a positive work attitude.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving profitable sales, category, and brand share growth in the assigned distribution channel.
Achieve the company's objectives regarding Sales, Accounts Receivable, and Merchandising standards.
Open new outlets and address sales inquiries.
Regularly service outlets based on the coverage area.
Monitor DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and undertake debt collection from outlets.
Analyze collection trends and recommend solutions for timely payments.
Monitor market information to identify opportunities and provide feedback on product quality, new marketing ideas, sales trends, competitors’ activities, etc.
Actively review and manage account inventory levels to ensure they meet acceptable standards. Develop sell-out activities to reduce stock holding days.
Implement effective promotional campaigns within specific timeframes. Track actual planogram/location of display against plans via close communication with key outlets.
Consistently update on account performance in terms of merchandising display, stock inventory, replenishment activities, promotional execution, and pending issues to be addressed.
Deliver goods to outlets (in small quantities only) when required.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time.
