About the role

Servay Supermarket Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Operation Executive to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As an Operation Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supermarket, ensuring efficient and effective management of our retail activities.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing operational strategies to optimise productivity and profitability
2. Overseeing the management of store inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
3. Monitoring and improving store operations, such as customer service, sales performance, and staff productivity
4. Identifying and resolving operational issues in a timely manner to minimise disruptions
5. Collaborating with the management team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
7. Providing leadership and guidance to the store's team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar retail operations role, preferably in the supermarket industry
2. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
4. Proficient in inventory management, data analysis, and performance reporting
5. Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Tertiary qualification in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
