About the role

Join Grand Tai Sdn. Bhd. as an Operation Executive and play a key role in our Freight/Cargo Forwarding operations. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur and offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic goals of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate all logistics to ensure operations run smoothly. This includes inventory management, coordinating deliveries, and liaising with other departments to ensure timely execution of tasks.
  • Ensure effective delivery of goods, by coordinating timely logistics requirements via cost-effective channels.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare and maintain accurate listings. Facilitate and expedite the sales process by providing necessary support, including document preparation, contract facilitation, and follow-ups.
  • Handle post-sale operations including order processing, delivery coordination, and customer follow-ups. Address any concerns or issues that arise after the sale and strive to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving complaints effectively. Strive to enhance customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
  • Monitor and track payments, ensure timely collection, and follow up on overdue payments. Work collaboratively with the finance team to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with customer communication on behalf of company departments, ensuring clear, effective information flow within and outside the company.
  • Provide department team leaders/managers with relevant information on activities, and issues related to order management of assigned accounts and tasks on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Logistics or related degree.
  • Proven experience in operations, sales support, or a related role is an advantage.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written. This role will be required to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • Key contact point with Principal office in China supporting global distribution requirements.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of professionalism and strong problem-solving abilities.
