On Site Manager/ Rooms Division Manager

We are looking for team members to join one of the fast-growing property management companies in Malaysia. We seek a candidate with excellent communication skills, who can plan and organize marketing activities and collaborate with the operations team. The ability to come up with solutions while in a stressful situation is key to excelling in this role.

Key Accountability Areas

Under the general direction of the Onsite Manager, the Onsite Manager will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of the Accommodation, maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction for all guests, and maximizing financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development.

Role & Responsibility

1. Leading Room Operations Team & Functions
   - Manage FD & HK: Daily operation
   - Implement Processes (SOP)
   - Monitor & Manage the security of all properties
   - Maintain healthy relationships with other departments: cross-department collaboration
   - Problem-solving: find solutions to resolve major issues
   - Improve the service of HK with EHK & reduce HK costs
   - Ensure smooth coordination of the Hotel: infrastructure improvements
   
2. Managing and Monitoring Activities that Affect the Guest Experience
   - Understand the demographics of guests
   - Handle guest services: complaints, reviews & ratings
   - Respond to emails from all stakeholders
   - Enhance guest experience: VIP services
   - Ensure proper coordination across departments for VIP services
   - Build relationships with repeat guests
   
3. Initiate Marketing Activities of the Site
   - Manage F&B: sales, budgeting, etc.
   - Collaborate with F&B outlet managers
   - Promote the brand & increase brand awareness
   
4. Managing Profitability (Revenue vs. Costs)
   - Manage department budget & report progress
   - Control costs & budgeting
   - Oversee sales & revenue
   - Ensure compliance of the Hotel: permits, etc.
   - Increase sales at the hotel level
   
5. Conducting Human Resources Activities
   - Foster operational culture & SOP
   - Ensure staff undergo proper training for smooth operations
   - Conduct trainings & engage with trainers outside the department
   - Handle HR matters at the property level
   - Focus on staff welfare & development
   
6. Property Management
   - Oversee the operation of the property & understand its workings
   - Build relationships with suppliers & other involved parties
   - Manage the Receiving/terminating Units Process
   - Establish rapport with other operators
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in hotel operations, sales, revenue management, or a related role, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Proven experience in property management or Airbnb operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members.
• Proficiency in hotel or property management systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
