Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
Join our team and help make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families! This role focuses on working with children, particularly those with conditions such as autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment & Treatment Planning: Evaluate children's physical and psychological needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Therapy Activities: Conduct sensory integration sessions, gross and fine motor skills exercises, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Teacher Guidance: Advise EIP teachers on effective daily activities for students’ progress.
• Progress Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate student progress every 3 months, adjusting plans as needed.
• Parent Support:
  • Provide practical advice to families for at-home activities.
  • Host bi-monthly parent workshops covering topics such as sensory integration, managing behavior, and home-based therapy techniques.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest therapy practices and techniques to deliver the best care possible.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid occupational therapist license.
• Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus.
• Experience: Min 1 year of experience preferred in Occupational Therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on skills in handwriting techniques, joint massage, and other relevant therapy practices.
• Proficient in using basic computer tools.
