Responsibilities

• To carry a clinical caseload involving assessment and treatment.
• To ensure the keeping of up to date accurate problem orientated medical records to comply with legal and clinical requirements.
• To make known to the seniors any deficiency in working conditions, equipment, and procedures that may constitute a hazard to patients or staff and to ensure adequate precautions are instituted.
• To make independent clinical decisions and to evaluate examination outcomes with support from senior staff.
• To attend and participate in relevant multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case conferences.
• To communicate relevant clinical information to all members of the MDT within health and social services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with Malaysian Occupational Therapy Association.
• Registered with Malaysian Allied Health Professionals Board.
• General knowledge of Occupational management of various conditions, e.g., Adult and Pediatric Neurology, Developmental Pediatric, Psychology, General Medicine (Geriatric, Cardiac Rehab), Pressure garment and splinting.
• Patient-oriented.
• Good teamwork.
• Effective with verbal and written communications.
• Patience, emotional stability, and empathy.
