Supermicro is seeking a dedicated Environmental Occupational Safety and Health Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and safety excellence at our facilities in Malaysia. This pivotal role involves overseeing adherence to Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Environmental Quality Act requirements, obtaining necessary permits and certifications, and managing safety, health, and environmental programs. The ideal candidate must possess the Green Book certification and will lead initiatives to promote workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and employee wellness while fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
A bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience in the manufacturing industry. Certification from recognized bodies such as the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Malaysia or the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia is often preferred. Examples of relevant certifications include Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), Certified Safety and Health Officer (CSHO), or equivalent. A deep understanding of Malaysian OSH and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices is essential. The ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including government agencies, employees, contractors, and management is important for the successful management of EOSH programs.
