OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH COORDINATOR (OSH-C)

1. Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify hazards and assess risks.
3. Collaborate with the department head to develop and implement safety protocols and practices.
4. Provide guidance and support to employees on occupational health and safety matters.
5. Coordinate safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation and ongoing education.
6. Investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
7. Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident investigations.
8. Keep abreast of changes in safety regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
9. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and participate in inspections as required.
10. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
11. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
12. Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the Company policy and procedures.
13. Be responsible for assigning each risk area for the management of particular risks.
14. Maintain and be responsible for 5’s practices in the workplace.
15. Other duties as assigned by superiors and management from time to time.
