About the role

Join the dynamic team at SAYEN GLOBAL SDN BHD as a Nutritionist. In this full-time position based in Penang Island, Penang, you will play a key role in providing expert nutrition advice and support to our diverse client base. As a skilled healthcare professional, you will be instrumental in helping our clients achieve their wellness goals and improve their overall health and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, plan and execute all nutritional programs and activities towards achieving the Company's target.
• Study and research on markets and update constantly on the market trends.
• Conduct and prepare webinars, seminars & product presentations to distribution support teams and improve their knowledge in the nutritional products in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Develop effective sales tools to help distributors disseminate product and nutritional messages, recommendations using the Company’s product.
• Provide nutritional consultation, handle health and product-related inquiries including answering customers' inquiries/complaints and attending walk-in customers.
• Contribute content and ideas for marketing communication materials (i.e., articles, fact sheets, product briefs, videos, competitive comparison, etc.) on a timely basis to support distributors in their selling process.
• Follow all nutritional laws and regulations.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and trends in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
• Liaise with distributors and constantly follow up with them in order to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare health and product articles and leaflets for marketing materials and company newsletters/website.
• Proactively engage in marketing activities & programs at the Company. Coordinate all aspects of product training events (i.e., event flyers, event sales and feedback forms) by coordinating with all stakeholders.
• Support in the translation and proofreading of marketing communication materials, Sayen products information, website pages, testimonials, and announcements related to marketing.
• Assist in other ad-hoc activities and any other duties and responsibilities as the Company may from time to time direct.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in nutrition, Food Technology, Dietetics or a related healthcare field.
• A member of NSM preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Nutritionist or Dietitian in a healthcare or wellness setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex nutritional information into easy-to-understand advice.
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop effective, evidence-based nutrition plans.
• Commitment to staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field of nutrition.
• Pleasant personality, positive-minded, willing to learn, and mature individual who takes the initiative to drive sales. Team working skills.
• Willing to travel.
• Able to work after hours and during weekends.
