This position is responsible for undertaking, overseeing and coordinating the nursing recruitment activities for Avisena Group. A nurse recruiter will be responsible for recruiting qualified nurses for job positions in Avisena Healthcare. She/He is responsible for the whole process of selecting candidates, conducting and facilitating interviews, screening potential candidates, answering inquiries and negotiating terms.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Keeping track of nursing turnover in Avisena Healthcare.
- Collaborating with nurse managers and other relevant departments for any nursing related vacancies.
- Managing and coordinating the recruitment of nursing positions including being responsible as the person-in-charge (PIC) for:
- Source and Attract Candidates: Utilize various channels such as online job portals, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals to source potential candidates. Create compelling job advertisements and engage in proactive candidate search to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.
- Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes, conduct initial screening interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience. Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders to evaluate candidates' suitability for specific roles.
- Coordinate the Selection Process: Facilitate the interview process, including scheduling interviews, preparing interviewers, and collecting feedback. Collaborate with hiring managers to determine evaluation criteria and selection methods that align with the organization's values and requirements.
- Conduct Background Checks and Reference: Verify candidates' employment history, educational qualifications, and other relevant credentials through reference checks and background screening. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines throughout the process.
- Offer Candidate: Review and propose remuneration offers and seek Head of Human Resources Management' approval before offering to the candidate and be responsible for negotiating with candidates. Ensure candidates complete the necessary recruitment process, including completing application forms and signing offer letters. Respond to candidates' queries, in consultation with other relevant departments (if required) and follow up with candidates prior to their joining dates.
- Conduct Onboarding: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and other necessary paperwork. Ensure completion of new hire forms, including benefits enrollment and payroll information. Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture. Assist with the setup of workstations, equipment, and access privileges for new hires.
- Career Fair Representation: Represent the company at career fairs, job fairs, and other recruitment events. Engage with potential candidates, provide information about the organization, and answer inquiries. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials. Collect resumes and maintain a candidate database for future reference. Follow up with potential candidates and maintain relationships for future opportunities.
- Coordinate the Internship Program: Including the intake process for interns. Review and screen intern applications, conduct interviews, and select candidates. Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process for interns. Support the supervision and development of interns throughout their internship period.
- Meeting and discussing with heads of departments to understand each department's specific nursing hiring needs.
- Maintain and increase a pipeline of candidates using databases, internet research, documentation, and follow-up communication.
- Preparing a monthly report on nursing recruitment activities.
Strategic- Building key relationships with local colleges and universities for sponsorship programs of nursing students and conduct college recruitments to hire prospective nurses (final semester students).
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations on various nursing topics for collaboration with colleges and universities.
- Investigate sources of marketing by placing ads, attending job fairs, student conventions.
- Collaborate with Nursing Education to provide mentorship programs to new staff during their probation period.
- Maintain recruitment files for candidates as a record of recruitment activity and tracking purposes.
- Handle exit interviews for resigning staff to find the root cause of the resignations.
- Resolve and troubleshoot problems arising in recruiting and hiring nurses.
- Propose nursing manpower planning for future expansion plans and requirements.
- Assist the Human Capital & Talent Management department in daily activities and perform other duties that will be assigned from time to time.
Academic Qualification:DIPLOMA IN NURSING, or a related field.
Skills & Experience Required:- Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and selection methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
