As a Nursing Care Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting patient education on Ostomy and Wound Care Management, encouraging the adoption of ConvaTec’s products for better clinical outcomes.

This hybrid role will also involve creating and delivering education programs and activities related to customer retention, as well as conducting product-related case experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ostomy & wound care teaching and troubleshooting sessions with patients/caregivers via teleconsultation/live chat and in-person at the Patient Education Centre.
• Provide timely responses to patient/caregiver inquiries (calls/emails/teleconsultation) regarding clinical issues and conduct routine follow-up calls.
• Recommend appropriate ostomy and wound products to meet patients’ needs.
• Manage patient data records and documentation through the Patient App.
• Assist Social Welfare/MAKNA/Yayasan/JPA/NGO patients.
• Coordinate with Nurse Associates for patient home/ward visits.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service & Sales Personnel to ensure excellent care continuity for patients.
• Support hospitals’ ET nurses in their Colorectal Cancer Support Group meetings/activities in targeted hospitals.
• Ensure the Patient Education Centre is well maintained and equipped for patient visits.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Nursing degree/diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience.
• Experience with Enterostomal Therapy (ET), i.e., ET nurse, is encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience as a Clinical Educator/Trainer within the medical device or healthcare industry is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Good presentation skills, as this role involves significant patient/nursing education and public presentations.
• A customer-first mindset and commitment to providing high standards of service.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills for educational implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Office Suites.
