Nursery Junior Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a nursery junior supervisor. Collaborate with the nursery team members to increase productivity and strive for continuous improvement in production process efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties & Responsibility:

1. Oversee production operations and maintenance of the farms, e.g., planning, scheduling, and allocation of work to ensure operational efficiency and effective resource management.
2. Manage all phases of farming activities, from seeding, replanting, maintenance, monitoring crops, and harvesting.
3. Monitor the calendar of events and yearly plan to make sure that the customer orders can be met and that there is sufficient supply of chrysanthemum flowers on the day of the event.
4. Monitor day-to-day operations, identify problems, and take corrective actions, while at the same time fostering a positive working environment.
5. Ensure farming activities are undertaken in accordance with the company’s standards, objectives, goals, strategies, mission, targets, and practices.
6. Implement quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards. Ensure the cultivation of high-quality flowers in sufficient quantities.
7. Keep up-to-date knowledge of natural farming and pest and disease control.
8. Demonstrate strong leadership skills to train, motivate, develop, and mentor subordinates at all levels to achieve individual and company group goals.
9. Undertake any other job assignments or tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

1. The candidate must possess at least a diploma in agriculture, plantation management, horticulture or equivalent.

3. Strong sense of responsibility; a hardworking and committed individual who possesses a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and desire to excel in the job.
4. Good supervisory skills and problem-solving skills.
5. Willingness to learn and take on more responsibilities for personal development and growth.
6. Hands-on experience in farming.
7. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential.
8. Candidate(s) must be willing to be based in Kg. Raja, Cameron Highlands, Pahang (approximately a one-hour drive by car from Simpang Pulai, Perak).
9. Able to drive manual car will be a great plus.
