Job Responsibilities:

• Generates project/program plans on components localization projects, manages product transfer, manufacturing system setup/upgrade, and site-level engineering projects.
• Able to establish a business case in terms of project financial return, generate project plans, regulatory requirements, and resource needs.
• Equipped with an engineering background & able to comprehend product drawings & product, process, and material specifications.
• Understand product testing requirements, design review, validation strategy, able to perform the testing & establish engineering test protocols & test reports.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis, such as product and process capability & able to interpret SPC data.
• Leads and interacts with functional groups, including overseas sites, to define work breakdown structures/action items and to coordinate assigned tasks as required to achieve project goals related to quality objectives, schedule, performance, and cost.
• Able to plan, direct, and control resources with minimum supervision; schedules, makes risk decisions as well as performance commitments in fulfilling project or system objectives; is accountable for results.
• Identifies problems, both internal and external, that are keys to the success of a specific sub-system, task, or similar project or project deliverable and initiates actions to mitigate/resolve them.
• Solicits recommendations from program/project personnel to develop solutions to problems that could impact project schedule, cost, or performance.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in the field of Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Bioengineering/Biomedical, Material) or Science (Physics or Chemistry). Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP) will be a plus.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to build strong professional networks with overseas counterparts.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
