Conduct thorough analysis of user requirements, functional specifications, and baseline documents to ensure comprehensive understanding.
Develop business scenarios and functional test cases aligned with business requirements and functional specifications.
Create requirement traceability matrix to establish clear linkage between requirements and test cases.
Design test scripts aimed at verifying the functionality outlined in the Functional Specs, ensuring their feasibility and effectiveness.
Execute tests meticulously, ensuring timely completion and capturing of relevant and accurate test results.
Effectively log defects into defect management tools, providing detailed analysis and diligently tracking defects until closure.
Actively participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and address identified issues.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Tech Leads to facilitate timely resolution of issues and ensure smooth progress of testing activities.
Requirements Specification / Skills / Experience:
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing, particularly within the banking domain.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of testing Treasury Back-Office and Capital Markets systems, with proficiency in platforms like Quantum, Murex, and Kondor+ being essential.
An in-depth understanding of the intricacies of testing within Treasury operations is crucial, including expertise in areas such as Money Market and FX transactions.
The successful candidate should possess strong skills across all testing phases, including test case design, meticulous test execution, and proficient defect management, ensuring timely closure of issues.
Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard test and defect management tools such as ALM and Jira is a prerequisite for this role.
A robust understanding of Testing Frameworks and SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps, will be highly advantageous.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent field.
Demonstrated experience in participating in at least two treasury system testing projects within the banking domain.
