Job Responsibilities
Manage and supervise Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) including management of Load Balancers, multiple firewall platforms and security devices such as IPS, Network Access Controller (NAC), Wireless LAN Controller, TACACS, VPN Concentrator and network services such as DNS & DHCP.
Manage and supervise telecommunications infrastructure and its related software, such as call management systems, VoIP, video conferencing, voice mail, and other telephony and network applications.
L2/L3 operations support in resolving defects/errors/failures, performing root cause analysis and executing minor enhancement.
All services for IT Network infrastructure.
Wide Area Network (WAN) links for MPLS IP/VPN Services, Data Center (DC) links, Offsite ATM/SST links, BNM NWI, Paynet and KLSE ETP.
Third Party services such as Card Business NAC and TLE.
Operational support including non-business hours, providing 24/7 on-call support.
Maintaining security posture and compliance for IT Network in alignment with regulatory policies and guidelines adopted by the organization.
8+ years of Telecom and Networking experience in a technical support environment.
Skills And Knowledge
Strong understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP routing, VOIP and Network packet analysis tools.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Familiar with network, security and voice components such as products and technologies from Cisco Systems, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Avaya, Genesys, Cisco Call Manager, F5 and Infoblox.
Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution for hardware and software problems.
Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success.
Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive, and readily embraces change.
Ability to handle business user and IT internal users/towers professionally during all engagement.
